Open Mind Art Space 5th Annual Anniversary Exhibition

Open Mind Art Space is pleased to present its 5th Annual Anniversary Exhibition, in celebration of the gallery’s 5-year anniversary. The exhibition will open this weekend, Saturday, March 6th and Sunday March 7th, 2021 and will be on view through March 20th by appointment only. Opening weekend begins today with an exhibition preview at the gallery on Saturday, March 6th from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, by appointment only. Tomorrow, on Sunday, March 7th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, the gallery will be be open for viewing at limited capacity at 11631 Santa Monica Blvd. and an outdoor reception will be also be held at nearby Good People Coffee Co. located at 11609 Santa Monica Blvd. The gallery will also be launching its new online shop featuring small artworks, limited edition prints, and gallery merchandise. A portion of proceeds from select works will be donated to the non-profit organization, Feeding America.

Each year, Open Mind Art Space maintains a tradition of hosting an Annual Anniversary Exhibition to honor its artists who contributed to the gallery’s programming from 2016 to the present. For its 5th Annual Anniversary Exhibition, popular and new works by Open Mind artists will be featured, and works by newly selected artists will be introduced. Participating artists will include Matt Allison, Carl Baratta, Tony Brown, Ariel Brice, Jamison Carter, Alexandra Chiou, Gioj De Marco, Cathy Ellis, Margaret Griffith, Theresa Knopf, Ashley Hagen, Alison Limtavemongkol, Vida Liu, Brian Mallman, Aline Mare, Andre Mirzaian, Carolyn Mason, Garen Novruzyan, Bryan Ricci, Chris Riggs, Tomoaki Shibata, Bianca Turner, Matthew Usinowicz, Aurora Valentine, Andre Yi and Jody Zellen.

The exhibition features original paintings, drawings, and mixed media works. Artworks range in size up to 24 inches, and vary in price from $500 and less. Open Mind Art Space will be donating 10% of proceeds from select sales to Feeding America. To kick off opening weekend today on March 6th, the gallery is launching its new online shop at, featuring small works, limited edition prints, and gallery merchandise, all of which will be available for purchase at the gallery during the exhibition.

All visitors will be required to wear face masks and practice social distancing during scheduled viewing appointments while inside the gallery and during the outdoor reception at Good People Coffee tomorrow on Sunday, March 7th.
